A King's Journey ( 10 Nights / 11 Days)

DAY 01. ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi. You will be met on arrival and escorted till your check in at The Oberoi hotel.

Capital to seven different cultures over the course of its history, New Delhi is a fascinating fusion of them all. The art and architecture of the city reflects its ancient and multifaceted heritage. A Hindu fortress, a Mughal tomb, an Islamic minaret and mosque and a Bahai temple all within minutes of each other give an idea of the cultural richness of the city.

DAY 02. IN DELHI
Post breakfast proceed for the city tour of Old and New Delhi. Drive past the opulent Red Fort. Visit Jama Masjid - the biggest mosque of Asia, Rajghat - memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi and later enjoy a rickshaw ride through the busy streets of Chandni Chowk, the shopping center of Old Delhi. In the afternoon proceed for the tour of New Delhi and visit Humayun's Tomb - the mausoleum of Emperor Humayun, Qutab Minar built by Qutab-ud-din Aibek. Drive past the secretarial offices, Parliament. Visit the India Gate - war memorial and Connaught Place, the city center. Overnight at the hotel.

 DAY 03. DELHI - AGRA (210 KMS/131 MILES)
Morning after breakfast transfer by surface to Agra enroute having a photo stop at Sikandra - the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. Upon arrival check in at the beautiful The Oberoi Amarvilas.

Later in the afternoon visit the World famous Taj Mahal followed by visit to the imposing Agra Fort. Overnight at the hotel. (Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday)

DAY 04. AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - RANTHAMBHORE (310 KMS/194 MILES)
Post breakfast proceed by surface to Ranthambore enroute visiting Fatehpur sikri. This city built by Emperor Akbar was abandoned after 15 years due scarcity of water. Later drive on to the Pink City of Jaipur.

Upon arrival in Ranthambhore check in at The Oberoi Vanyavilas.

The Oberoi Vanyavilas - Designed as a 'Jungle Camp' set between the Aravali and the Vindhya mountain ranges in south - eastern Rajasthan lies this beautiful resort. Set in 20 acres with the emphasis on maintaining the natural environ with the well - established trees, flora and a large water body. The view tower faces the sanctuary and it is just a little way from the Ranthambore National Park and Tiger Reserve.

Evening relax in the peaceful surroundings of this resort. Overnight.

DAY 05. IN RANTHAMBHORE
This morning and afternoon, escorted by a naturalist, drive into the Ranthambore reserve to look for the great diversity of birds and mammals.

Ranthambore Tiger Reserve (near Sawai Madhopur) is known for its spectacular scenery. The sanctuary is a system of lakes and rivers - hemmed by steep, high crags and the remains of a thousand-year-old fortress and temple. The areas has a dramatic terrain of rocky, steeply-scarped hills, valleys and open land, enhanced by structures that testify to a heroic past; old guard posts, pavilions and ruins of palaces. There is a good chance of seeing one of the few, highly endangered Bengal Tigers still remaining in the park. The deep gorges of Ranthambore serve as hideouts for leopards, tigers and sloth bear. The park also provides a congenial habitat of the 'chital; or spotted deer and sambar, the largest of the Asiatic deer.
Overnight at the resort.

DAY 06. RANTHAMBHORE - JAIPUR (195 KMKS/122 MILES)
This morning have a leisurely breakfast and then continue your surface journey towards Jaipur.

Upon arrival in the beautiful The Oberoi Rajvilas.

DAY 07. IN JAIPUR
Post breakfast visit the Amber Fort where you will ascend on elephant back to the fort. Later visit the beautiful City Palace, Jantar Mantar - the largest stone observatory in the world and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Evening walk around the crowded bazaars or relax in the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 08. JAIPUR - UDAIPUR BY FLIGHT
This morning after an early breakfast, transfer to airport to connect flight for Udaipur. Meet and assist on arrival and proceed to airport to connect flight Udaipur.

Upon arrival proceed directly for an excursion to Eklinji & Nagda. Return early afternoon and check in at The Oberoi Udaivilas.

Afternoon take a city tour of Udaipur, visiting the city palace, crystal museum, sahelion ki bari.
Evening relax in the hotel and overnight.

DAY 09. IN UDAIPUR
This day take a full day excursion to Jain temples at Ranakpur or just relax in this beautiful resort hotel. Evening at leisure and overnight.

DAY 10. UDAIPUR - DELHI BY FLIGHT
Morning post breakfast transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi. You will be met on arrival and transferred to hotel The Oberoi where a room is at your disposal till your late night transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.

DAY 11. LEAVE DELHI
In time transfer to airport to connect flight for onward destination.

Note: Ranthambhore is closed due monsoon from 01st July till 30th September every year and some days in the month of May for census study. If you so desire you can omit Ranthambore and continue the journey to Jaipur directly from Agra.
