Regal Rajasthan

Rajasthan, land of a people who are brave and chivalrous, is a land of superlatives-every thing herein is breathtakingly beautiful, impressive and fascinating. It is packed with history, art and culture that goes back several centuries. Rajasthan has a total area of 343,000 sq. km and the most striking feature of this land is its division by the majestic Aravali range which runs from north east to south-west for about 688 km. Northwest of the Aravalis are the Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Barmer and Bikaner regions, it is the home of arid plains and the shifting sand dunes of the great Thar Desert. The other side of the hills is a land of rich in vegetation - Aravali.

DAY 01. ARRIVE DELHI
You will be met by our representative outside the customs enclosure and escorted till your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02. IN DELHI
Morning after breakfast proceed for the city tour of Old and New Delhi. Drive past the opulent Red Fort. Visit Jama Masjid - the biggest mosque of Asia, Rajghat - memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi and later enjoy a rickshaw ride through the busy streets of Chandni Chowk, the shopping center of Old Delhi. Afternoon proceed for the tour of New Delhi and visit Humayun's Tomb - the mausoleum of Emperor Humayun, Qutab Minar built by Qutab-ud-din Aibek. Drive past the secretarial offices, Parliament. Visit the India Gate - war memorial and Connaught Place, the city center. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03. DELHI - AGRA (210 KMS/131 MILES)
Morning after breakfast transfer by surface to Agra enroute having a photo stop at Sikandra - the mausoleum of Emperor Akbar. Check in at the hotel and later proceed to visit the World famous Taj Mahal followed by a visit to the imposing Agra Fort. Overnight at the hotel. (Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday).

DAY 04. AGRA - FATEHPUR SIKRI - JAIPUR (233 KMS/146 MILES)
Post breakfast proceed by surface to Jaipur enroute visiting Fatehpur sikri. This city built by Emperor Akbar was abandoned after 15 years due scarcity of water. Later drive on to the Pink City of Jaipur. Arrive late evening and check in at the hotel. This evening have an orientation tour of the city or relax in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 05. IN JAIPUR
Morning after breakfast visit the Amber Fort where you will ascend on elephant back to the fort. Later visit the beautiful City Palace, Jantar Mantar - the largest stone observatory in the world and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Evening walk around the crowded bazaars or relax in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 06. JAIPUR - BIKANER (321 KMS/201 MILES)
Morning proceed by surface to Bikaner. After check in at the hotel proceed to visit the Junagarh Fort built in 1593 AD. Return to the hotel in the evening and overnight.

DAY 07. BIKANER - JAISALMER (330 KMS/206 MILES)
Morning proceed by surface Jaisalmer. Arrive late evening and check in at the hotel. Evening at leisure and overnight.

DAY 08. IN JAISALMER
Post breakfast visit the awesome Jaisalmer Fort, housing the entire township within its rampart. Visit the Nathmalji ki haveli, and Patwon ke haveli. Later in the evening proceed to witness the sunset at Khuri sand dunes. Evening at leisure and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 09. JAISALMER - JODHPUR (290 KMS/181 MILES)
Morning proceed by surface to Jodhpur. Check in on arrival. Afternoon do the city tour of Jodhpur visiting the Mehrangarh fort, Jaswant Thada, a graceful marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant II. Evening at leisure and overnight.

DAY 10. JODHPUR - RANAKPUR - UDIAPUR (280 KMS/175 MILES)
Morning proceed by surface to Udaipur enroute visiting the famous Jain temples at Ranakpur. Arrive late evening in Udaipur and check in at the hotel. Overnight.

DAY 11. IN UDAIPUR
Morning post breakfast proceed for half day city tour of temples at Eklinji and Nagda. Afternoon proceed for the city tour of Udaipur visiting the City palace, Crystal museum, Saheliyon ki Bari Garden and Jagdish temple. Evening at leisure and overnight.

DAY 12. UDAIPUR - DELHI BY AIR
Morning in time transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi. Meet and assist on arrival and proceed to airport hotel where you can relax in the lobby till evening or do the last minute shopping. Later in time transfer to International terminal to connect flight for onward destination.

DAY 13. LEAVE DELHI
Transfer to International airport for your flight back home.
