Classical Tour India ( 8 Nights / 9 days)

The charm of India lies in its diversity and its elusive quality. The charm of metropolitan Delhi, the romance of Taj Mahal, the valor of Rajasthan, the eroticism of Khajuraho and the spiritual life of Varanasi are all brought together in this trip.

DAY 01. ARRIVE DELHI
Arrive Delhi. You will be met by our representative outside the customs enclosure and escorted till your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02. IN DELHIAkshardham
Morning after breakfast proceed for the city tour of Old and New Delhi. Drive past the opulent Red Fort. Visit Jama Masjid - the biggest mosque of Asia, Rajghat - memorial site of Mahatma Gandhi and later enjoy a rickshaw ride through the busy streets of Chandni Chowk, the shopping center of Old Delhi. Afternoon proceed to tour New Delhi and visit Humayun's Tomb - the mausoleum of Emperor Humayun, Qutab Minar built by Qutab-ud-din Aibek. Drive past the secretarial offices, Parliament. Visit the India Gate - war memorial and Connaught Place, the city center. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 03. DELHI - JAIPUR (260 KMS/163 MILES)
Morning after breakfast transfer by surface to Jaipur. Arrive Jaipur and check in at the hotel. Afternoon take a short orientation tour of the city. Evening at leisure and overnight.

DAY 04. IN JAIPUR
Morning visit the Amber Fort where you will ascend on elephant back to the fort. Later visit the beautiful City Palace, Jantar Mantar - the largest stone observatory in the world and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Evening walk around the crowded bazaars or relax in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 05. JAIPUR - FATEHPUR SIKRI - AGRA (230 KMS/144 MILES)Jaipur
Post breakfast proceed by surface to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur sikri. This city built by Emperor Akbar was abandoned after 15 years due scarcity of water. Later drive on to Agra. After check in at the hotel proceed to visit the World famous Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Evening at leisure and overnight at the hotel. (Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday)

DAY 06. AGRA - JHANSI BY SHATABDI EXPRESS TRAIN AND THEN BY SURFACE TO KHAJURAHO ENROUTE VISITING ORCHHA (172 KMS/108 MILES)
Morning after an early breakfast proceed to railway station to board shatabdi express train in A/C chair car for Jhansi. You will be met on arrival and then by surface proceed to Khajuraho enroute visiting the medieval city of Orchha. Lunch at Orchha Resort. Post lunch continue to Khajuraho and arrive late evening. Check in at the hotel and relax. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 07. KHAJURAHO - VARANASI BY AIR
Post breakfast visit the Eastern and Western group of Temples. Later in time proceed to airport to connect flight for Varanasi. You will be met on arrival and transferred to the hotel enroute visiting Sarnath, the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Also visit the museum and ruins at Sarnath. Check in at the hotel. Later in the evening proceed to the ghats to witness the Pooja (Aarti) ceremony which leaves one spell bound. Overnight. (Sarnath museum is closed on every Friday).

DAY 08. VARANASI - DELHI BY AIRVaransi
Start early this morning before sunrise and proceed to the ghats of Holy River Ganges to witness the multitude of people with faith take a dip. Sail past the bathing and cremation ghats situated adjacent to each other. View the sunrise while enjoying the boat ride.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and then proceed for the city tour visiting Bharat mata temple, Durga temple, and Vishwanath temple. Later in time transfer to airport to connect flight for Delhi.

Meet and assist on arrival and transfer to airport hotel for dinner on direct payment. Later in time transfer to International terminal to connect flight for onward destination.

DAY 09. LEAVE DELHI
Take the flight back home

Kathmandu Extension ( 3 Nights / 4 days)

DAY 08. VARANASI - KATHMANDU BY AIR
Start early morning before sunrise and proceed to the ghats of Holy River Ganges to witness the multitude of people with faith take a dip. Sail past the bathing and cremation ghats situated adjacent to each other. View the sunrise while enjoying the boat ride. Return to hotel for breakfast.

Later in time transfer to airport to connect flight for Kathmandu. You will be met on arrival and escorted till your hotel. Afternoon half day city tour of Kathmandu visiting the Durbar square, Swayambhunath and local market. Overnight.Kathmandu

DAY 09. IN KATHMANDU
Post breakfast proceed for full day tour of Bhadgaon, Pashupatinath and Bodhnath. Evening at leisure and overnight.

DAY 10. IN KATHMANDU
This morning after breakfast, proceed for half-day excursion to Patan. Afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight.

DAY 11. KATHMANDU - DELHI BY AIR
Morning at leisure and later in time transfer to airport to connect flight for New Delhi. You will be met on arrival and taken to airport hotel The Radisson, where you can relax in the lobby till your late night pick up and transfer to International airport to connect flight for onward destination.
