Singinawa is a Sherpa word which means ‘Protectors of the Sacred Forest’ and is the philosophy which guides us.

Located on 55 acres of land, in the tiger heartland of the world, Singinawa Jungle Lodge offers a unique experience of the jungles of central India with all the comforts of a world class lodge. The lodge offers the chance to not only learn about the tiger and its habitat but to also experience ecologically responsible tourism and see conservation at work benefitting local communities and the Tiger Reserve.

Trained naturalists take you on safari in customized 4x4 vehicles to offer an insight into the unique ecosystem of the park where animals like the highly endangered Swamp Deer, Dhole, Gaur, Tiger and a whole host of birds may be seen. Back from safari, you can savor a choice of cuisines, relax at the spa, go for a bicycle ride into the nearby tribal village, visit our model organic farm or even take a walk on the land to see how degraded land has been protected and natural grasslands & forests allowed to regenerate.

Visit to the local school, village markets 'haat' and weekly cattle fair can also be organized upon request. For Cooking Classes join our chefs for learning how to cook everyday Indian food or even the nuances of creating the finest ‘tandoori’ dishes. Relax by the swimming pool where the bird songs and the rustle of wind in the grass are the only sounds you hear, follow up your swim with a session at the Spa where trained therapists treat you to reflexology or massages to relieve your travel fatigue. Picnics can also be arranged on the grounds or by the Tannaur River.

Visit the Singinawa Farm to see how we are trying to set an example for villagers to follow, by growing organic crops and plants with medicinal properties. Pick your own vegetables or explore the land and river banks.
